Miniature Furniture
The miniature furniture shown is of a high quality, not cheap kit form but requires a certain amount of skill and experience to make. It is all strongly constructed and french polished to last a life time. Joints use miniature dowels and instructions for making the dowels are included. All the wood used is either Brazilian mahogany, steamed Pear or Oak and instructions are given on how to fill open grain woods to obtain a fine finish. Addresses of where to obtain the wood and necessary materials are given. In almost all cases the ratio is 12:1 which is the recognised ratio. Full instructions to make the miniature furniture are given, showing how to make and use templates and jigs in the construction.

A New Style Drilling Jig For Dowelling Conti Plas Together To Form A Very Strong Invisible Joint
The drilling jig is my own design and enables two pieces of Conti Plas or other woods to be joined together extremely strongly without showing the joints. Bougthen dowels are used. I have made several bookcases and other pieces of furniture using this jig which ensures a sound job which is exceptionally strong and lasting. The jig is made from mild steel to last a life time.
